Aura Garcia Sanchez is a Spanish actress who has appeared on Spanish films and television. She's appeared on TV and in movies such as Stockholm. Garrido began her career in Madrid in the year 1989. The father of her Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez is a painter. She began her piano lessons when she was 4 years old. Then, soon after, started practicing ballet. Her best friend who spoke English which taught her to speak the English language. Following the completion of her high school studies and enrolment at the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico which is located situated in Madrid where she studied interpretive studies through her third year and specialized in interpretation of text, however she dropped out in 2010 because she was selected for the role in Planes para manana. Her performance earned an award of the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress, as well as an Goya Awards nomination in the best breakthrough actress category among other nominations.
