Actor and country-pop singer and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the cast on One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were featured in the One Tree Hill's episodes and helped to push her debut album in 2012 into the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015, was also among the Top Ten. Her decade ended with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside several singles from her non-album album. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. Later, she would pursue a recording career but she started her career acting as an actress, making her onscreen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead as she was in her teen years. Through the years Kramer was a regular on a variety of series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights' 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer was next seen on 90210 as Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's cast in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until the middle of the last season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. Her contract was signed for a record label Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I Will Not Go Down" on the show's episode. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was released on her debut full-length album Jana Kramer. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. Focusing on her music career afterward, she did not stop acting. she was a part of films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. The second album of Kramer Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. It received a boost from the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to three places among the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Beginning in September 2016 her two-month stint on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary smash by releasing the song "Feels Like" Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
